Terms of use
By using 3·6·9 (the "app"), made by Trefoil Sound and operated by Sina Gandomani, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the app is
3·6·9 is a relaxation and meditation tool that plays binaural beats, tones and ambient sound. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. Descriptions of Solfeggio frequencies reflect tradition and folklore, not scientific or medical claims. Research summaries in the ADHD section describe early and mixed evidence and are not medical advice.
Use it safely
- Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery or heavy equipment, or doing anything that needs your full attention. The sounds are designed to relax you and can cause drowsiness.
- Do not wear headphones where you need to hear your surroundings, such as while walking, cycling or near traffic.
- If you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, consult a doctor before using binaural or rhythmic audio. Stop using the app if you feel dizzy, unwell or uncomfortable.
- Keep the volume low to moderate to protect your hearing.
- The app is not intended for young children.
Your responsibility
You use the app at your own risk and are responsible for deciding whether it is suitable for you and for using it safely.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose, or that it will produce any particular effect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss or harm arising from your use of the app, including use contrary to the safety guidance above. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Ownership and credits
The app's design, code and branding belong to its operator. The music track is Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, II. Allegretto, in a cello arrangement by John Michel, used under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license; see its Wikimedia Commons page. The recording was converted to MP3 and volume-levelled for playback, and it remains under its own license.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or the site, try to disrupt it, or present it as something it is not, for example by describing it as a medical treatment.
Free and paid features
The presets (Ground, Create, Calm), the soundscapes, the sleep timer, saved mixes, three quick sessions, and the practice, mood and reminder tools are free to use. Premium unlocks the Frequencies tab, the Journey builder with the full session library, and ADHD focus mode. Premium plans are opening soon; until they do, every feature stays available.
Plans and prices
Premium is sold as Yearly ($29.99 a year), Monthly ($4.99 a month) or Lifetime ($59, paid once). Prices are in US dollars, and sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you live. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Premium is not offered to anyone under 18.
Who sells it
Lemon Squeezy is our payment provider and merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms for buyers.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Yearly and Monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email or in your customer portal. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you before your next renewal, and the new price applies only if you keep renewing.
Lifetime
Lifetime is a one-time payment that unlocks Premium for as long as 3·6·9 is offered. If we ever stop offering the app, we will give at least 90 days' notice.
Your license key
Your key is for your personal use on your own devices. Please don't share it publicly or resell it. We may disable a key that has been shared widely, or one that was refunded or charged back. If you lose it, use the link in your receipt email to find it again.
Free trial
You can try Premium free for 7 days, once per device, with no card needed. When the trial ends, the Premium pages lock again unless you buy.
Refunds
If you're not happy, email us within 14 days of any payment and we will refund it. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the law where you live.
Premium is still a relaxation tool
Premium features are covered by the same safety and "not a medical device" terms above. ADHD mode is not a treatment.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
